Distribution in Vietnam.

Central Highlands: Lâm Đồng (Ðà L ạt) .

Authorship. DO: Yu et al. 2016.

Type locality. Hòn Giao, Bi Doup massif, northeast of Ðà L ạt, Lâm Đồng province ( Vietnam) .

General distribution. Only known from the type locality.

Remarks. Holotype in MNHN; paratypes in HCMCU and NJAU.

Genus TOMOCERUS Nicolet, 1842

Yu et al. (2021) proposed five subgenera within the genus Tomocerus . These subgenera are not accepted by Janssens (2001) (in: Bellinger et al. 1996 −2022) as they are “described in Appendix A of the original publication, that is an electronic publication only available as an online document”. However, we accept these subgenera since we consider that they are sufficiently characterized in the printed version of the publication (page 5). In Vietnam two subgenera are recorded.

Tomocerus Nicolet, 1842: 31 .

Type species. Macrotoma minor Lubbock, 1862 .

Four species recorded in Vietnam, and some unidentified specimens from Bắc Giang (Trýờng Sõn) (CI: Phạm B.Q. et al. 2005).
