Remarks. – This species was described based on a single specimen from Brazil ( Pará).Currently, it is known from Peru, French Guiana, and Brazil ( Pará) (Bezark 2023b; Monné 2023; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2023). Breuning (1959) synonymized C. simplex with C. volvula (Fabricius, 1787) ; Marinoni & Martins (1982) replaced C. simplex .
