Distribution
Gruna Parede Vermelha and Gruna Lava Pé cavesı Andaraíı state of Bahia.
Remarks
Based on morphological traitsı i.e. eyes composed of 12 ommatidiaı appendages elongated (antennaeı pereopods and uropod exopods) and some specimens with reduced body pigmentsı this species is considered troglomorphic. Howeverı additional surveys should be conducted outside caves to confirm the classification of this species.
