Type host. Cichlasoma facetum (Jenyns) (Pisces: Cichlidae ).

Site of infection. Stomach, intestine.

Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires Province, Berisso, Los Talas. Holotype: MLP 289/1. Paratypes: MLP 261 (5 specimens); MLP 288/1 (2 specimens); MLP 288/2 (2 specimens); MLP 289/2 (1 specimen), MLP 289/3 (1 specimen); MLP 345 (2 specimens). Reference. Lunaschi (1984).
