Type host. Myotis levis (Geoffroy) (Mammalia: Molossidae ).
Site of infection. Small intestine.
Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires Province, Zárate, Isla Talavera.
Holotype: MLP 4864/1. Paratypes: MLP 4859/2, MLP 4860– MLP 4863/1, MLP 4864/2, MLP 4931– MLP 4935.
Remarks. Lunaschi (2002) originally described this species as Suttonia talaveraensis . However, the genus is preoccupied by Suttonia Smith, 1953 (Pisces, Serranidae ), so it was replaced by Gymnoacetabulum Lunaschi & Drago, 2007.
