Type host. Percichthys trucha (Cuvier & Valenciennes) (Pisces: Percichthyidae ).
Site of infection. Gills.
Type locality. Argentina, Río Negro Province, Lago Moreno (41º04ʹS, 71º33ʹW).
Paratypes: MLP 5296, MLP 5297, MLP 5298, MLP 5299, MLP 5300 (6 specimens).
Remarks. Holotype and 6 paratypes deposited in the Colección Nacional de Parasitología del Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales Bernardino Rivadavia, Buenos Aires, Argentina; 9 paratypes deposited in the Colección Parasitológica de la Universidad Nacional del Comahue (Bariloche, Argentina) and 6 paratypes deposited in the United States National Parasite Collection, Beltsville, Maryland.
