Type host. Callorhynchus callorhynchus (Linnaeus) (Pisces: Callorhynchidae ). Site of infection. Gills.

Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires Province, coast of Mar del Plata (38ºS, 57ºW). Holotype: MLP 6428/1. Paratypes: MLP 6428/2 (cited as MLP P12). Reference. Suriano & Incorvaia (1982).
