Type host. Oligoryzomys delticola (Thomas) (Mammalia: Muridae ).
Site of infection. Abdominal cavity.
Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires Province, Hudson (34º45ʹS, 58º06ʹW).
Paratypes: MLP 4610 (9Ƥ, 13).
Remarks. Holotype, allotype, and 2 paratypes deposited in the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle, Paris, France.
