Type host. Oligoryzomys nigripes Olfers (Mammalia: Muridae ).
Site of infection. Mainly abdominal cavity.
Type locality. Argentina, Misiones Province, Cainguas, Arroyo Cuñá Pirú (27º05ʹ15ʹ S, 54º57ʹ0 9ʹ W). Holotype: 3 MLP 5017. Paratypes: MLP 5018 (allotype Ƥ), MLP 5019 (13, 3ƤƤ). Reference. Notarnicola & Navone (2002).
