Type host. Larvae of Cyclocephala signaticollis Burmeister (Insecta: Scarabaeidae ). Site of infection. Last part of the intestine.

Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires Province, Pergamino (33º54ʹS, 60º35ʹW). Holotype: 3 MLP 5288/1. Paratype: MLP 5288/2 (allotype Ƥ). Reference. Camino & Reboredo (2005).
