Type host. Percichthys trucha (Cuvier & Valenciennes) (Pisces: Percichthyidae ).
Site of infection. Sinus venosus and atrium (adult males and gravid females), intestine (larvae), and abdominal cavity (larvae and sub–adults).
Type locality. Argentina, Río Negro Province, Lago Escondido (41º05ʹS, 71º35ʹW).
Paratypes: MLP 5519 (433, 4ƤƤ).
Remarks. Holotype (3) and allotype (Ƥ), paratypes (4ƤƤ, 433) deposited in the Colección Nacional de Parasitología del Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales Bernardino Rivadavia, Buenos Aires, Argentina; paratypes (10ƤƤ,1033) deposited in the Colección Parasitológica de la Universidad Nacional del Comahue, (Bariloche, Argentina); paratypes (1 3, 1 Ƥ) deposited in the Helminthological Collection, Institute of Parasitology, České Budĕjovice, Czech Republic.
