Type host. Scapteromys aquaticus Thomas (Mammalia: Muridae ).
Site of infection. Small intestine.
Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires Province, Isla Talavera (33º53ʹ18ʹ S, 59º03ʹ59ʹ W).
Holotype: 3 MLP 4694/4. Paratypes: MLP 4694/5 (allotype Ƥ) (cited as MLP 4694/2a), MLP 4694/6 (17533, 133ƤƤ) (cited as MLP 4694/2b).
Remarks. Paratypes (2033, 20ƤƤ) in the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle, Paris, France.
