Type host. Pterodroma externa (Salvin) (Aves: Procellariidae ).
Site of infection. Stomach, oesophagus, and gizzard lining.
Type locality. Chile, Pacific Ocean, Archipiélago Juan Fernández (33º41ʹ–33º45ʹS, 79º01ʹ–80º45ʹW). Holotype: 3 MLP 5630. Paratypes: MLP 5631 (allotype Ƥ); MLP 5632 (3ƤƤ). Remarks. Other material in the U.S. National Parasite Collection, Beltsville, Maryland. Reference. Díaz et al. (2007).
