Type host. Oxymycterus misionalis Sandborn ( Rodentia , Cricetidae ).

Site of infection. Caecum.

Type locality. Argentina, Misiones Province, Departamento Capital, Arroyo Zaiman (27°27ʹS, 55°54ʹW).

Syntypes: MLP 180.

Remarks. Other material deposited in the Muséum national d´Histoire naturelle de Paris, France (mentioned as paratypes in the original description).
