The Melanogaster jaroslavensis group of species
Morphological diagnosis. Wing base bright yellow in both sexes but wing completely yellow in female. Body black with a greenish or bluish shine. The hypandrium of the male genitalia is similar to that of the species of the M. hirtella group, but the surstyli (epandrium) are similar to those of the species of both the M. hirtella and M. nuda groups sensu Kassebeer (1999 a).
