Material examined. Holotype: ♂, Thailand, Wiang Pa Pao , 25.ix.2001, M. Ikeda leg. ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 1–8 , NSMT) . Additional material: 1 ♂, same locality, 23.ix.2003, M. Ikeda leg. ( NSMT) (genitalia examined, prep. AK870, Fig. 11).

This species was known only from the holotype. We can now report a second specimen from Thailand, collected at the type locality. It differs from the holotype by the more extensive yellow coloration of the abdomen, with tergite 3 being reddish orange and tergites 4 and 5 being orange-yellow almost throughout.
