General —Small nematodes. Buccal capsule shallow, symmetrical in dorsal and lateral views, circular in transverse section; anterior margin of buccal capsule sinuous. Leaf crown elements 8 in number, recurved at tips. Submedian papillae prominent, elongated, 22.7 long, projecting anteriorly from perioral cuticle; distal segment ovoid, 7.1 long; proximal segment cylindrical 15.6 long. Amphids situated posteriorly, below anterior margin of buccal capsule. Esophagus robust, claviform, simple; wider anterior to nerve ring; posterior to nerve ring abruptly more slender gradually widening again towards posterior end of oesophagus. Posterior end of esophagus surrounded by extensions of intestine. Transverse cuticular annulations widely spaced 14.9 (14.6–15.7) apart. Nerve ring in mid–oesophageal region; deirid anterior to nerve ring. Excretory pore just posterior to nerve ring.
Male (n=10)—Body length ( BL) 4.83 (4.56–5.25) mm, maximum width 365 (350–372). Buccal capsule 15.0 (13.0–19.1) long by 46.8 (41.2–50.0) wide; esophagus 676 (660–691) long. Deirid, nerve ring and excretory pore 179 (163–189), 387 (377–400) and 497 (470–522) from anterior end. Spicules elongate 2.34 (2.19–2.41) mm long, alate, tip obtuse. Gubernaculum subtriangular in dorsal view, wider than long, 23.26 wide by 20.1 long.
Dorsal ray broad at origin; major bifurcation occurs at mid-length; angle of bifurcation obtuse; external branchlets arise after major bifurcation which occurs ¾ along length of dorsal ray; external branchlets shorter than internal ones, directed laterally, not reaching margin of bursa; internal branchlets directed postero-laterally, not reaching margin of bursa. Ventral lobes joined ventrally; lateral lobes and ventral lobes joined, dorsal lobe indistinct; ventroventral and ventro-lateral rays apposed, reaching margin of bursa. Externo-lateral ray divergent; postero-lateral and medio-lateral rays adjacent but not fused. Externo-dorsal ray arising close to lateral rays, not reaching margin of bursa. Genital cone simple with elongated ventral lobe and a pair dorsal appendages.
Female (n=10)—Body length 5.88 (5.48–6.70) mm, maximum width 438 (401–458). Buccal capsule 15.9 (14.0–19.0) long by 49.2 (43.2–52.0) wide. Oesophagus 743 (698–799) long. Deirids, nerve ring and excretory pore 188 (170–202), 401 (370–409) and 477 (451–492) from anterior end. Vulva 657 (610–703) from posterior end. Vagina long, straight, 1.26 (1.19–1.37) mm long. Tail long, bent dorsally, 470 (450–553) long. Eggs ellipsoidal; 46.0 (43.2–51.8) by 23.2 (19.5–26.4).
