Lectotype (designated here):— CHINA. Guangxi: Lingchuan , low hills, 25 April 1978, C. D. Chu & C. S. Chao 78001 ( NF barcode 17001809!, isolectotypes NF barcodes 17001810!, 17001811!, 17001812!, 17001813!, 17001814!, 17001815!, PE barcodes 01512504!, 01512505!).
Nomenclatural notes:—The gathering C. D. Chu & C. S. Chao 78001 indicated by the authors as type, consists of 9 specimens kept in NF and PE. The specimen with NF barcode 17001809 is better preserved than the other 8 specimens, hence is here designated as the lectotype.
Taxonomic notes:—This species is currently accepted in the Flora of China ( Chu et al. 2006) as Acidosasa lingchuanensis (Chu & Chao) Xie & Chen (1993: 74) .
