Lectotype (Verdcourt in Milne-Redhead & Polhill, Fl. Trop. E. Africa, Leguminosae 4: 1073. 1971): Herb. Linn. No. 906.18 ( LINN) .

Current name: Vicia benghalensis L. View in CoL ( Fabaceae : Faboideae ).

Note: Romero Zarco (in Anales Jard. Bot. Madrid 56: 178. 1998) designated the cited Hermann plate as lectotype but this choice is pre-dated by that of Verdcourt.
