Northern Territory: 1 specimen, NTM Cr018330, dissected, 4 slides, north of Cape Hotham, Beagle Gulf (12°0.96′E 131°16.92′E), 29 m, coarse sand, shale and gravel, 9 October 1993, coll: K.E. Coombes (stn BG-160).

Type locality. Little Bay , New South Wales, Australia (33°59′S 151°15′E).

Remarks. Material from the Northern Territory has the accessory flagellum with only 5 not 7 articles and the telson inner margin with 2 robust setae on each lobe instead of 4, in comparison to the type material from New South Wales.

Distribution. New South Wales: Port Stephens; Little Bay; Clovelly; Twofold Bay ( Lowry & Springthorpe 2005; current study). Northern Territory: Beagle Gulf (current study).
