Eocincticornia australasiae Felt, 1915 View in CoL
Eocincticornia australasiae Felt, 1915: 207 View in CoL .
Material studied. Syntypes collected by G. Compere (collection # 798) in Perth, Western Australia . One male (10- ii-1914), three females (10 & 11-ii-1914), all presumably caught in flight. Permanent mounts are lodged in NMNH on loan from the New York State Museum. This species differs from the only known congener, the Eucalyptus - galling Eocincticornia malarskii Kolesik, 1995 in the male genitalia: the teeth on the gonostylus are blunt in E. australasiae and acute in E. malarskii .
