Distribution: Brazil: Paraná.

New record for the Paraná State.

Comments: The description of this species brings Brazil as its type locality, and this species is recorded for the first time since its original description. All species of this genus have a very elongated fastigium, generally longer than the length of the pronotal disc. The individual collected here has a bright green colour, different from the type, where the colour has probably deteriorated (photos available on OSF database). This specimen was collected in the buildings close to the Iguaçu Falls, so the species is also possibly present in the homonymous park in Argentina .

Bioacoustics: Sound not recorded.
