Fig. 25H, I View FIGURE 25

Distribution: Argentina: Tucuman; Brazil: Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul; Uruguai: Soriano.

New record for the Paraná State.

Comments: This species seems also to be more restricted to southern South America, just like S. marginoides . At first, we could interpret that this is the first record of the species for a forested area. However, we cannot dismiss the possibility that the records for Tucumán, Argentina, and Santo Domingo de Soriano (Villa Soriano), Uruguay ( Emsley 1970) corresponds to specimens collected in forested areas, respectively in the Yungas and in forests associated to the Negro and Uruguay rivers.

Bioacoustics: Sound not recorded.
