Distribution: Brazil: Paraná, São Paulo; Bolivia: Santa Cruz.

New record for the Paraná State.

Comments: This is the first record of this species for the Southern region of Brazil. A single male was collected near buildings. Additional samplings focused on searching specimens near buildings could reveal an additional number of specimens of C. piracicabensis
