Distribution: Neotropical ( Peru, Ecuador).
Records in Ecuador: Pichincha ( Pasochoa National Park , Quito) and Zamora Chinchipe ( San Francisco Biological Reserve ) .
Habitat: Hillside 150 m above the stream. Fern stems from shrubby secondary forest.
