Distribution: Neotropical and Eastern (Borneo).
Records in Ecuador: Zamora Chinchipe (San Francisco Biological Reserve at the border of the Podocarpus National Park ) and Loja (andean mountain region of the Loja valley).
Habitat: Litter from Graffenrieda emarginata and Purdiaea nutans . Abandoned pasture soil. Litterbags of Puteria sp., Cavendishia zamorensis , Mollinedia sp. , Graffenrieda emarginata and Clusia spp.
