TYPE LOCALITY: Ethiopia (= Abyssinia) .
DISTRIBUTION: NE Sudan, N Ethiopia, Somalia, Djibouti.
SYNONYMS: citernii, cordeauxi, erlangeri , gubanensis, hararensis, hemprichiana, lawrancei, madoka, phillipsi , swaynei.
COMMENTS: Includes cordeauxi; see Ansell (1972:63). Includes erlangeri , phillipsi , and swaynei; see Yalden (1978:262); but see also Ansell (1972:62).
