TYPE LOCALITY: Saudi Arabia, 150 mi NE of Mecca, Dhalm .
DISTRIBUTION: Formerly Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, S Iraq. Extinct in the wild.
STATUS: U.S. ESA - Endangered.
COMMENTS: A species distinct from G. dorcas according to Groves (1988).
