Current accepted name
Troglocharinus ferreri ferreri (Reitter, 1908) View in CoL : Fresneda & Salgado, 2016: 192.

Avenc de la Funiosa [original citation: “avench de la Funiosa, dans le massif du Panadés”].
Type material
Syntypes: MZB 78-1350, MZB 78-1351 ( 2 ♀♀), type loc., R. Zariquiey leg. (ex coll. R. Zariquiey) .
Remarks
The type series consists of three females ( Jeannel, 1924b), two of which are deposited in the MCNB collection and a third in the Biospeologica collection (MNHNP) ( Jeannel, 1924a). The cave, in the municipality of Gavà (Barcelona province), currently lies buried under the Garraf rubbish dump ( Fresneda & Salgado, 2016). In the MNHNP’s general collection (box 74) we have located the third specimen that completes the type series (identical collection labels, as well as a label with “ TYPE ” written in red letters on a white background).
