( Figs. 35–36 View FIGURES 35 – 36 )

Type material studied. (1 ♂, 2 ♀) Holotype: MONTENEGRO: ♂, ” Montenegro, Virpazar env., Mts. Rumija, 1100 m, 0 7.08.2005, leg. R. Mlejnek“ (w, p) / ” HOLOTYPUS, Cephennium (s. str.) mlejneki sp. n., det. M. Stevanović 2007.“ (r, p) ( MSNS). Paratypes: (2 ♀): same data as holotype. All paratypes bear the following label: ” PARATYPUS, Cephennium (s. str.) mlejneki sp. n., det. M. Stevanović 2007.“ (r, p) ( MSNS).

Diagnosis. Frontoclypeal region without puncturation; punctures on vertex moderately large; pronotum subquadrate; puncturation on elytra moderately coarse, dense; metaventrite with shallow oval impression and metaventral process distinctly broader than 1/3 of maximum metaventral width, posteromesal margin W-shaped with very small triangular median notch; lateral projections as long as broad; aedeagus in ventral view with strongly elongate subtriangular apical part distinctly demarcated laterally by shallow constriction.

Description. Male. Body length 1.42 mm, moderately convex, pronotum, antennae and legs reddish-brown, elytra brown, tarsi and mouth parts yellowish, setation yellowish.

Head broadest across moderately large eyes; length 0.15 mm, width 0.27 mm; frontoclypeal region subtrapezoidal, slightly convex; vertex slightly convex; supraantennal tubercles weakly raised. Frontoclypeal region without puncturation, punctures on vertex moderately large, very sparse, well marked; setation moderately long, very sparse, suberect. Length of antennae 0.60 mm; antennomeres I–II subcylindrical, 1.4 times as long as broad, III–V slightly longer than broad, antennomere VI nearly as long as broad, VII ovoid, VIII subquadrate, IX transverse, 1.1 times as broad as long, X transverse, 1.3 times as broad as long, XI subconical, 1.5 times as long as broad.

Pronotum subquadrate in shape, slightly convex, widest slightly anterior to middle, length 0.43 mm, width 0.49 mm, with broadly rounded anterior margin, posterior margin weakly biemarginate. Lateral carina wellmarked, microserrate, sides strongly rounded in anterior third, posterior corners almost right. Puncturation moderately coarse, moderately dense, composed of small and shallow punctures; setation moderately long, suberect to erect.

Elytra oval, elongate, moderately convex, length 0.82 mm, width 0.53 mm, EI 1.49; widest slightly anterior to middle; apices of elytra weakly separately rounded. Each elytron with single basal fovea located in middle between humerus and scutellum; humeral carina as long as 1/7 of elytral length. Puncturation very fine, dense, punctures shallow, distance between punctures 0.5–1.5 times of their diameter. Setation moderately long, suberect to erect.

Metaventrite with shallow oval impression, very sparsely punctured, distance between punctures 2.0–3.0 times of their diameter with moderately short and suberect setation; metaventral process distinctly broader than 1/3 of maximum metaventral width, posteromesal margin W-shaped with very small triangular median notch; lateral projections slightly longer than broad, apex of each forming sharp angle with pointed tip.

Aedeagus ( Figs. 35–36 View FIGURES 35 – 36 ) length 0.42 mm, in ventral view with strongly elongate subtriangular apical part distinctly demarcated laterally by shallow constriction; endophallus as in Fig. 36 View FIGURES 35 – 36 .

Legs moderately long and slender; protibiae apically widened, moderately curved.

Female. Very similar to male; metaventrite in middle slightly convex; body length 1.40–1.41 mm; head length 0.15–0.16 mm, width 0.29–0.31 mm; length of antennae 0.60–0.61 mm; pronotum length 0.40–0.42 mm, width 0.48–0.52 mm; length of elytra 0.83–0.85 mm, width of elytra 0.56–0.57 mm; EI 1.48–1.49.

Distribution. Montenegro.

Etymology. Species dedicated to Roman Mlejnek, the collector of the type material.

Remarks. This new species is similar to C. montenegrinum Reitter, 1881 , but it can be distinguished by the following combination of characters: 1) the body is longer, in C. montenegrinum the body length 1.22–1.27 mm, 2) the posterior corners of pronotum almost right, in C. montenegrinum the posterior corners obtuse, 3) the aedeagus is longer, in C. montenegrinum the aedeagus length 0.33–0.36 mm and 4) a different structure of the aedeagus.
