Remarks: Wet fields and ditches with tall grasses and drier edges of marshes, tall and lush vegetation of scattered grass. Tegmina cover abdomen, but in female not the tip of the ovipositor, rather rounded at the tip; male stridulatory file slightly thin, curved with 190 teeth; male mirror of the right tegmen ovoid or spherical.
