Distribution:— China (Shaanxi, Tibet and Yunnan).
Host:—III on Cotoneaster acutifolius , C. franchetii , C. microphyllus and C. rubens .
Spermogonia, aecia and uredinia unknown. Telia hypophyllous, scattered or grouped, waxy in appearance, orangeyellow to black-brown, 100–400 μm across; teliospores 2-celled by transverse septa, catenulate in gelatinous matrix, ellipsoid or fusiform, yellowish, 17–45 × 7–19 μm (x = 30 × 11 μm, n = 50), walls smooth.
