Trechicus LeConte, 1853 : Notes on the classification of the Carabidae View in CoL of the United States: 386. Type species: Trechicus umbripennis LeConte, 1853 View in CoL (= Bembidion nigriceps Dejean, 1831 = Perigona nigriceps View in CoL ).
Diagnosis. Small, usually rather wide and fairly depressed species, characterized by the subapical marginal setiferous punctures of the elytra which are arranged in a distinct triangle.
