Eustigmaeus collarti (Cooreman)
Caligonus collarti Cooreman, 1955: 163 .
Ledermuelleria collarti Summers & Price, 1961: 369 .
Eustigmaeus collarti Doġan, 2004a: 97, 2006a: 87 , 2007: 14; Erman, Özkan, Ayyıldız & Doġan, 2007: 7.
Materials examined. 3 ƤƤ from moss on stone, 40°17'22'' N, 39°35'35'' E, 1804 m, Köse Mountain, 29 VIII 2008; ZMAU.
Distribution. France and Turkey ( Cooreman 1955; Doġan 2004a, 2006a, 2007; Erman et al. 2007).
Remarks. This species can be distinguished from known species by the shape of the dorsal ornamentation, the absence of humeral callosities and the number of aggenital setae. General features of our specimens are similar to other specimens of the species.
Eustigmaeus erciyesiensis Do ğ an, Ayyıldız & Fan
Eustigmaeus erciyesiensis Doġan, Ayyıldız & Fan, 2003: 132 ; Doġan, Per, Ayyıldız & Fan, 2004: 21; Doġan, 2005: 836, 2007: 14; Erman, Özkan, Ayyıldız & Doġan, 2007: 7.
Materials examined. 4 ƤƤ, 4 deutonymph ƤƤ, 1 3 from moss near the brook, 40°17'27'' N, 39°35'31'' E, 1861 m, Köse Mountain, 23 VII 2007; 1 Ƥ, 9 deutonymph ƤƤ from grassy soil under Picea sp., 40°17'26'' N, 39°35'33'' E, 1833 m, Köse Mountain, 23 VII 2007; 9 ƤƤ, 2 deutonymph ƤƤ from grassy and mossy soil, 40°16'32'' N, 38°48'04'' E, 1632 m, Alucra, 24 VIII 2007; 70 ƤƤ, 9 deutonymph ƤƤ,7 33 from grassy soil under Pinus sp. 40°17'37'' N, 39°35'28'' E, 1583 m, Köse Mountain, 24 VIII 2007; 4 ƤƤ, 1 deutonymph Ƥ from debris into the dried brook, 40°16'58'' N, 39°35'35'' E, 1814 m, Köse Mountain, 21 IX 2007; ZMAU.
Distribution. Turkey (Doġan et al. 2003, 2004; Doġan, 2005, 2007; Erman et al., 2007).
Remarks. This species, which is common in Turkey, can be distinguished from known species by its characteristic dorsal ornamentation, sword shaped dorsal body setae, humeral regions with major callosities, coxisternal shields completely separated along midline, ventral setae 4a absent, and aggenital shield bearing two pairs of setae. Our specimens determined as E. erciyesiensis exhibit all characters of other known specimens of the species.
Eustigmaeus erzincanensis Do ğ an
Eustigmaeus erzincanensis Doġan, 2005: 850, 2007: 14 ; Erman, Özkan, Ayyıldız & Doġan, 2007: 7.
Materials examined. 2 ƤƤ, 1 3 from moss on stone near a brook, 40°17'05'' N, 38°47'55'' E, 1582 m, Alucra, 24 VIII 2007; 1 Ƥ from litter under Pinus sp., 40°20'49'' N, 38°31'15'' E, 1103 m, Şebinkarahisar, 27 X 2007; 3 ƤƤ from grassy soil near a brook, 40°17'10'' N, 39°38'20'' E, 1839 m, Köse Mountain, 29 IX 2008; ZMAU.
Distribution. Turkey ( Doġan 2005, 2007; Erman et al. 2007).
Remarks. This species resembles E. erciyesiensis Doġan, Ayyıldız & Fan ; however, it can be distinguished from the latter by having ventral setae 4a and setae sci shorter than c 2. Our specimens are similar to E. erzincanensis in all respects except the humeral callosities are bean-shaped.
