Distribution. Japan; Korea and widespread in China.
Remarks. This species was described from several specimens (syntypes) from Japan. These types have not been examined and the identity of the species is based on the figures of Kwon & Lee (1979) and Lee (1979). This species is similar to S. grandis (Matsumura) , but it can be distinguished by the following combination of characters: smaller size; apophysis of style long, strongly laterally curved; aedeagal shaft slender, far away aedeagal base.
