Color. Vertex, pronotum, mesonotum and scutellum with red longitudinal bands. Costal margin of forewing with subapical reflexed dark veinlets.
Body. Head strongly produced, triangular or spatulate, lateral margins foliaceous. Face with longitudinal keel at front. Ocellus 2– 3x of their own diameter from eye, lying below anterior margin of head, not visible from above. Frontoclypeus not tumid, clypeal sulcus prominent. Pronotum with a variable medial carinae. Forewing with two closed anteapical cells, with recurved veins in corium from outer anteapical cell. Protibia dorsal macrosetae 1+3. Metafemur apex macrosetae 2+1.
Male. Pygofer side without macrosetae, with short tooth on apical half near ventral margin. Valve long, triangular. Subgenital plate triangular or squarish, macrosetae uniseriate. Connective Y-shaped. Aedeagus with triangular base, shaft bent at base, nearly parallel to aedeagal base.
Distribution. Africa; Australian; China; Guatemala; Papua New Guinea; Philippines.
