Length. Female: 5.0– 5.6mm.
Color. Generally greenish yellow ( Fig. 30 View FIGURE 30 ).
Body. Head narrower than pronotum. Vertex apically acute, about 2x as long as the breadth between the eyes, lateral margins slightly concave ( Fig. 30 View FIGURE 30 A). Ocellus next to eye slightly below anterior margin ( Fig. 30 View FIGURE 30 B). Eye relatively large ( Fig. 30 View FIGURE 30 A). Anteclypeus nearly parallel-sided, extending beyond normal curve of genae ( Fig. 30 View FIGURE 30 C). Pronotum as long as half of the vertex. Mesonotum and scutellum shorter than pronotum ( Fig. 30 View FIGURE 30 A). Forewing macropterous, female usually exposing apex of abdomen ( Fig. 30 View FIGURE 30 A–B).
Female. Hind margin of seventh sternum slightly concave in the middle ( Fig. 30 View FIGURE 30 D).
Material examined. 3♀, China, Guangdong Prov., Conghua , 43m, 25 August 2005, coll. Yang Meixia.
Distribution. China (Guangdong).
Remarks. This species appears similar to S. khewrensis ( Pruthi 1936: 111, plate VIII, Figs. 1 2–13 View FIGURE 1 View FIGURE 2 View FIGURE 3 View FIGURE 4 View FIGURE 5 View FIGURE 6 View FIGURE 7 View FIGURE 8 View FIGURE 9 View FIGURE 10 View FIGURE 11 View FIGURE 12 View FIGURE 13 , text-fig. 125) from India, but males are needed to confirm its identity.
