Species. [1]: pallidus Cai.
Range. China (Anhui: Yungusi of Mt. Huangshan).
Host plants. Unknown.
Material examined. None.
Remarks. Paraconfucius is monobasic. The type specimen of P. pallidus is deposited at Anhui Agricultural University, and was unavailable for this study. From Cai’s description of the genus and drawings of P. pallidus , Paraconfucius appears to be more closely related to Ledropsis than Confucius , and may even be a synonym of Ledropsis . Examination of the type specimen of P. pallidus is necessary to be certain.
