Specimensexamined. ITALY: 1♀ (det. Klopfstein), “Sicil Taormina” ( NHRS) . DENMARK: 1♂ (det. Klopfstein), C. Drewsen leg. ( NHRS) .
Distribution. Not distributed in Japan. This species is widely distributed in Palearctic region and also recorded from USA ( Balueva & Lee, 2015; Yu et al., 2016).
Remarks. As a result, we remove the distribution record of this species from Japan. Japanese records of this species should be treated as those of D. varicoxa .
