Isognathus rimosus molitor Rothschild & Jordan, 1915 ( Fig 3. F )

General distribution. Endemic to Hispaniola.

Distribution in the DR. South coast ( Pedernales, NP Jaragua, Azua) and Cordillera Central ( Fig 1. D ).

Habitat. Elevation 100–1740 m. A species of open and xeric environments, very common along the coast and in the dry forests that surround the Cordillera Central.

Host plants. Larva on various Apocynaceae ( Allamanda , Plumeria , etc.)
