Habitat in Vera Cruce. ♃
Planta ex stellatis XLIV. Caulis altus, brachiatus, subarticulatus, obsolete tetragonus, hispidus: Pilis rigidiusculis, sparsis, reflexis. Folia e lanceolato-ovata, alternatim nervosa, integerrima, subpetiolata, scabra. Flores in capitula terminali a, passim etjam in verticillos congesti; capitula terminalia, radiata. Foliis 4. vel pluribus, scilicet alternis minoribus. Corollulae ut in Asperulis, tenues, longae, sed sexfidae & fructus ex 3 seminibus; sic differt a Spermacoce numero & caeteris.
