Type material examined. Lectotype (Fig. 3): male, “Darjiling 1864” / “ Coll. Staudinger ” / “657” / pink square label ( MFN); paralectotype (Fig. 4): female, “Darjiling 1869” / “coll. Atkinson ” / “ Coll. Staudinger ” / “875.” / “ Chionaema divakara Moore by Hmpsn” ( MFN).
Remark. The type series of Bizone divakara is mixed and contains a specimen of C. britomartis . In order to stabilize the nomenclature the male specimen matching the original illustration ( Moore 1865 [1866]: pl. 43, fig. 9) is designated herein as lectotype (Fig. 3).
Distribution. Northeast India (Sikkim, north of West Bengal and Assam), Nepal and Bhutan ( Hampson 1900; Singh et al. 2020).
