So far this species is only recorded from California. The structure of unicolored dark antennae with very robust antennal segments, the second segment longest, is similar to that of A. pannosus VAN DUZEE, 1920 , and A. behrensi BERGROTH, 1886 (see Photo 4 View Photo 4 , Figs 12, 13; Photo 3 View Photo 3 , Figs 9, 10).
