The eminens -group
Diagnostic characters. This group is characterized by the vinculum ventrocaudal margin with a very short medial process, the uncus with broad fan-shaped base interrupted by the traces of the uncus lobes, the elongate rectangular valva without basal flange, with a prominent process at the base of the ventral margin, the very short juxta reflexed anteriorly along inner surface of the vinculum, the short, stout aedeagus, the bulbus ejaculatorius <5.0× length of the aedeagus, not hypertrophied in the subdistal and distal sections in the male genitalia; by the colliculum comprising a funnel-shaped apodeme and a second ring surrounding the corpus bursae in the female genitalia.
Remarks. Two Chinese species, E. baculiformis sp. nov. and E. eminens sp. nov. are included in this group. Edosa darjeelingella ( Zagulajev, 1964) from India is highly similar to E. baculiformis sp. nov., and it should be placed in this group.
