Diagnosis. Adult ( Fig. 39 View FIGURES 36 − 43 ). Wingspan 12.5−15.0 mm in male. This species can be recognized by the structures of the male genitalia ( Fig. 70 View FIGURES 68 − 70 ): the medial process on the vinculum ventrocaudal margin is T-shaped; the small uncus lobe is expanded basally, digitate distally; the short, ear-shaped valva is concave on the apical margin, and has a melanized dorso-apical horn and a ventral-apical horn; the slender aedeagus is curved through 60° with juxta; and the bulbus ejaculatorius is expanded and curved in the subdistal section. Edosa sinica (Gaedike) is close to E. conchata sp. nov., and the differences between them are as noted in the diagnosis of the latter species.
