Female. Posterior margin of seventh sternite slightly convex medially ( Fig. 10 E ).

Female genitalia. Valvula I curved dorsally, with sculptured area confined to apical 1/3 ( Figs. 12 A–B); Valvula II slightly curved, with toothed area confined to apical 1/3, teeth decreasing in size, each tooth triangular, without secondary dentition, proximal four teeth more prominent than remaining ( Figs. 12 C–D).

Measurements. Male 5.7−6.1 mm long, 2.0 mm wide across eyes and 2.7 mm wide across posterolateral angles of pronotum. Female 7.1−7.3 mm long, 2.0 mm wide across eyes and 2.3 mm wide across posterolateral angles of pronotum.

( UASB) ; Tripura: 4 ♂, 1 ♀, Ishanchand nagar, 16.vii.2011, Net sweeping N. M. Meshram; 1 ♀, 20.vii.2011, on weeds, P. P. Bhat; 2 ♀, S . Tripura, 16.iv.2011 ( NPC) .

Remarks. Coloration and structure of the specimens agree with the description of the species given by Nielson (1982). This species can readily be recognized by the transverse yellow band on the forewing. This species was earlier reported from China, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Bangladesh and Vietnam ( Nielson, 2015). This is the first report of the occurrence of the species in India.
