Synergus itoensis Abe, Ide & Wachi in Abe et al. (2011): 117, ♀ & ♂.

Distribution. Japan (Honshu, Kyushu) ( Abe et al. 2011: 117–118).

Biology. Synergus itoensis has been shown experimentally to induce cryptic galls in acorns of Q. glauca (sect. Cyclobalanopsis ) ( Abe et al. 2011).
