Distribution. China (Henan, Zhejiang Provinces) ( Pujade-Villar et al. 2014b: 536, 538; Lobato-Vila et al. 2021a: 348) and Taiwan ( Schwéger et al. 2015a: 466, 469).

Remarks. Redescribed and illustrated by Lobato-Vila et al. (2021a).

Biology. Reared from multilocular stem swelling-like galls on Q. serrata (sect. Quercus ) ( Schwéger et al. 2015a; Lobato-Vila et al. 2021a). The gall inducer has yet to be confirmed.
