Lithosaphonecrus formosanus Melika & Tang in Bozsó et al. (2013): 12, ♀ & ♂ [published in paper: (2015: 90)].
Distribution. Taiwan ( Bozsó et al. 2013: 12, 17).
Biology. Reared from bud, catkin, and stem galls on Lithocarpus konishii , L. hancei and L. glaber ( Bozsó et al. 2013) . The gall inducers have yet to be confirmed.
