See Brock et al. (2023) for a complete reference list

This large genus occurring from Mexico to South America now contains 36 species. Libethra species often show distinct degrees of ornamentations on its body ( Conle et al. 2011). Libethra venezuelica was described in the same work as Ocnophila inaequalis , but in previous pages. Ocnophila inaequalis has its type lost and is described from the same locality as Libethra venezuelica and according to its description it corresponds to a more ornamented individual of the latter, so is here synonymized under it. Characteristics contained by the transferred species that allowed generic assignment are the following: somewhat small head; thick legs; short and robust cerci; robust abdomen; similar morphology of teminalia, especially tergum X of the male with lateral smooth round swellings.
